Joshua 7-8

All through the Old Testament the Israelites sinned against God.  They worshiped God, then something else came along and they worshiped that.

God warned the Israelites not to marry into other tribes or worship their gods.  Why?  Because the Israelites would pick up their sinful ways, and turn their back on God.

Today we are doing the exact same thing.  You might say that you Believe in God, but then you are doing sinful things.  America would not have to have abortion clinics across the country, if people would stop having sex outside of marriage. 

Porn addiction is major in America.  It would not be a problem if they stayed focus on The Word of God.

Americans are obsessed with their cell phones.  They are worshiping their phones as if it is their god.  I have seen grown women cry because they lost their cell phone in a store.  I have seen a customer yell, scream and attack a store manger because the customer accused an employee stealing their phone.  Their phone was in their car.  Police had to be called.

Christians are not innocent in this, they are guilty.  They claim to believe in God, yet they do not do what the Bible tells them to do.

Is it any wonder that Non-Believers do not want to be Believers because even Believers do not practice what they say they Believe.

Joshua had to constantly remind the Israels what God had done for them

Joshua 8:34-35
Joshua read all the words of the law--the blessings and the curses. (Deuteronomy 28)  just as it is written in the Book of the Law.  There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read to the whole assembly of Israel, including the women and children and the aliens who lived among them.
