1st Corinthians 10:1-10
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant , how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
And all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
And did all eat the same Spiritual Meat;
But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wildnerness.

These were our examples that we are not to do:

1.  Lust after evil things
2.  Be ye not idolaters
3.  Ye not commit fornication
4.  Ye not tempt Christ
5.  Ye not murmur (complain)

10:11-12

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples:
and they were written for our admonition, upon  whom the ends of the world are come
Let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 

10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the Glory of God.

Pay attention to what you do.

The Israelites prayed and begged God to free them.  God took them out of Egypt and all they did was complain, create a golden calf and worshipped it.  had sex whenever did not do what God told them to do, but they expected God to do what they asked.

Even today the world has turned their back on God, now they are blaming God for everything.  That is why the world is the way it is.  It is not God's fault.  It is our fault.  We have turned our back on God

Whatever we do, we should do it and give God all The Glory
