Acts 28
Paul made it safely to shore
Acts 28:3
Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat and fastened on his hand
Paul shook off the beast into the fire and felt no harm.
And the locals believed he was a god.
Acts 28:8
It came to pass that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and a bloody flux: to who Paul entered in and prayed, and laid his hand on him and healed him.
So when this was done, others also came which had diseases in the island and were healed.
We can do the same thing Paul had done:
1. Get bit by a snake and survived without getting sick
2. Pray
3. Lay hands on the sick and heal them.
Jesus has given us the same power he has given Paul. We must believe to receive that power.
We are suppose to Go Ye into the world and preach the Gospel and lay hands on the sick
Jesus said:
Mark 16:15-18
Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned
Ant these signs shall follow them that beleive; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak in new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover
Acts 28:31
Paul continued to preach the Gospel
Preaching the Kingdom of God and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
