1st Kings 16-17
Acts 27

Paul then had to sail to Rome.  He is still a prisoner.  The ship was caught in a storm.  Paul warned them what was to come, but no one listened to him.  Neither the sun or stars appeared for many days and the storm raged on.  They finally gave up hope of being saved.

 Acts 27:21-24
Paul said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me and not have loosed from Crete.  and to have gained this harm and loss.
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer:  for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but for the ship
For there stood by me this night night the Angel of God whose I am and whom I serve
Saying fear not, thou must be brought before Caesar ; and lo God hath given thee all that sail with thee
Wherefore sirs, be of good cheer for I believe  God, that shall be even as it was told to me. 

Has that ever happened to you?  Someone tells you something and you know they are probably right but then you listen to someone else and it does not work out.

Have you ever had a word from God, and then went about your day and did what you wanted to?  Then your day ended badly.

It happens to all of us.

Jesus is the Way, the only Way.

Listen to that little voice within you.  That is God speaking and guiding you
