Matthew 27:1

All the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put Him to death.

Matthew 27:26
he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.

Matthew 27:28-29
they plaited a crown of thorns placed it on His head, they spit on him and struck him on the head again and again

Matthew 27:45

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

Jesus cried out "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
After he yelled this, he yielded up the ghost.

And behold the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to bottom and the earth did quake and the rocks rent: 

Matthew 27:60
laid in His own new tomb and they rolled a great stone in front of the entrance.

On the third day, they discovered that the stone was removed and Jesus had rose from the dead.. 

This is the Base of Christian Belief.

God sent Jesus down to earth, (His only Begotten Son)  Jesus lived as we lived.  Jesus was tempted as we are tempted, So Jesus knows how we feel, because he experienced life also.

Jesus was Crucified on the cross.  His Body was broken, He shed his blood.  Jesus died and on the 3rd day, Jesus rose from the dead. 

Our God is alive.  Jesus is alive. 

This is what Christians Believe.

The only way to get to Heaven is through Jesus.
Jesus is the Way.
