Day 243
Daily Bible Reading Schedule
Isaiah 1-3
Philippians 1
Today we are starting 2 new Books of the Bible:
Isiah & Philippians
The Book Isiah: Isiah is a prophet and God gives him a message.
Once again the Jewish people have turned their back on God, and now God is going to punish them
In Deuteronomy 28:64 The Lord will scatter you among all the nations from one end of the earth to the other.
Isiah has good news and bad news for the Jewish people.
In the Book of Philippians Paul writes another letter from Jail.
Paul Writes:
Philippians 1:27
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the Gospel of Christ
That ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them evident token of perdition
but to you of salvation and that of God
Not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake
Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
Isiah 1:1
The vision of Isiah:
1:2
Hear, O heaven and give ear, O earth for the Lord hat spoken
I have nourished and brought up children, and they rebelled against me.
1:4
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters
They have forsaken the Lord,
They have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger
They are gone away backward
Read Isiah slow and take it all end.
The Book of Isiah is current today!
We are living in the last days.
Most Bible Experts say that much of the Book of Isiah deals with ancient history,
But some of the closing Chapters don't
they deal with events still ahead.
