Beware of Satan

Genesis 3:1-6

The serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.

Here it says that Satan is more crafty, more smarter, more cunning, more devious

Satan went after Eve, and said, "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Eve answered:  "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden:  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, least ye die.

Satan said, Ye shall not surely die. 

Right here, Satan is trying to get Eve to doubt what God has said. 

Eve starts thinking that maybe God was wrong. 

When the Eve saw that the tree was good for food and the it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired  to make one wise, she took it and ate the food. 

Here comes Adam and wants to know what is going on.  Eve gave the fruit to Adam, and he ate it. 

Right there, both of them went against God.

Satan got Adam and Eve to doubt God and do what their flesh wanted to do.

As a result, Satan, got Adam and Eve to distance themselves from God. 

They had a perfect life.  They knew God. They saw God.  They had a relationship with God, then they doubted God.  Did what they wanted to do, and God banished them from the Garden.

That is what Satan is doing us today.  Satan's main goal is to put distance between you and God.

Satan will talk in your ear telling you lies to make you doubt the Bible and God's Word.  That is why people are so messed up.  They are listening to Satan and not God.

I use to cut myself daily.  One the blood oozed from my flesh, I felt the tension, stress leave my body.
That is what Satan wanted.  Once I totally started to immerse myself into the Word of God, pray, and let the love of God come into my heart, only then could I block out Satan's voice and start listening to God.

Satan is not going away.
