Suicide Is Not The Answer.

Hebrews 13:5

Jesus said.  "I will never leave you, nor forsake you."

You are never alone.  Jesus is with you.  All you have to is reach out and Jesus will meet you where ever you are at.  Just say:  "Jesus, I need you."

A young man was active in the church.  He played the drums during worship.  He worked out.  He took care of himself.  So everyone thought.

He let his depression over take him. and he is no longer with us.

On the outside, he looked like his life was perfect.  He was good looking.  He was a nice guy.  He was a personal trainer, helping others to get healthy and fit.  On the outside, it looked like he had everything going for him

He was a Born Again Christian.  Jesus said, chose life.

Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy.

The fight is in our mind.  We must fight Satan everyday of our lives.  Satan does not want us to be close to God or Jesus.  That is why it is so important to renew your mind.  Read the Bible, daily.  Pray throughout the day.  Going to church on Sundays, is not going to do it.  

Suicide is on the rise as we are now living in the last days.  How to do we handle this with ourselves and our loved ones?

In the United States, it is all about the medicine.  Go to the doctor and they will give you pills.  That doesn't work, they will give you more pills.  For me, that was not the answer.

I have been suicidal most of my life.  I never thought I would live though my twenties.  I had no plans for the future.  I thought I would not be alive, so bother.

I am now almost 60 years old, and I am still alive.  Why?  Satan had his chances to kill me, but every time, God saved me.  I could be dead right now and you would not be reading this.  I have cut myself many times.  Abused alcohol and abused over the counter medicine.  Satan tried to burn my house down, which if Satan had succeeded, I would have been burned alive.  God saved me from that fire.

So how is it that I haven't killed myself nor have I taken any depression medicine?

Jesus is the answer.  When I am at my lowest, (I still have those moments)  I get on my knees and pray.  I don't pray for God to heal me or save me, nor to I wine and complain to God.  God already knows what I am going through.  My prayer is something like this:

Dear Lord,
I cannot do this alone.  I need you, Jesus.  Only you can help me.  I am nothing without you, nor can I do anything without you.  I need you Jesus.  Amen."

Then I usually go to sleep, or otherwise I would do something stupid.  Then when I wake up, you know what?  I feel better.  My mind is clearer.  

Suicide Is not the Answer

Jesus Is The Answer.

I can only speak from my experience.  If you need to go to a doctor, by all means go to the doctor.  Take the medicine.

Don't do it alone.  Invite Jesus to go with you and to guide you.  

Jesus said choose life.
