We are starting 2 new books of the Bible:
Ezekiel & 1st Peter
We will be in Ezekiel all month long
Once again God's People, the Jewish people have not been following God, nor listening to God
They have been exiled to the heart of Babylonian Empire (Which is now Iraq)
More than 10,000 fellow Jews.
Ezekiel is a priest, which means, now he has nothing to do.
God gave Ezekiel a new job and becomes a prophet to the Jewish exiles.
So God shows Ezekiel what is going to happen and some of it is not good news
1st Peter is written by Peter
1st Peter 1:13
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind,
Be sober and hope to the end for the Grace that is to brought unto you
At the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Be ye Holy ; for I am Holy it is written
1:25
The Word of the Lord endureth forever
And this is the Word by which the Gospel is preached unto you.
Ezekiel 1:3
The Word of the Lord came upon Ezekiel
and the hand of the Lord was there upon him

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain,
So was the appearance of the brightness round about
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord,
And when I saw it, I fell upon my face
I heard a voice of One that spake
You should read the entire book of Ezekiel and study it. I know I will. I don't know everything, that is why it is important to read and reread the Bible. Every time you read the Bible, God will give you a new revelation of a scripture that you haven't seen before.
The Bible is the living Word of God.
Don't just read the Bible once. Read the Bible--Reread the Bible over and over for the rest of your life. The Bible connects you to God.
