Three Day Weekends Are Not Biblical

Genesis 2:2-3

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing;  so on the seventh day he rested, from all the work.

And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

God gave us six days to work, and one day to rest.  

God did not give us a two day weekend.  Man did.  God did not give us three day or four day weekend, man did.

 

This Thursday in America July 4th is the day we celebrate the birthday of our country.  To most Americans it is a day to drink to much, to eat to much and to have a long weekend.  

THERE IS NOTHING BIBLICAL ABOUT THIS HOLIDAY OR ANY OTHER HOLIDAY  MAN CREATED.

We are living  in the last days before the Rapture, the return of Jesus.  How are you living?  Living for God or Living for yourself?

God gave us Sunday, to rest and worship Him.

What are you doing on Sundays?

How are you worshiping God?

We are all guilty of not living by the Bible.  Our government wants to erase God from, schools, government and from our lives.  If we do not focus on what the Bible says now, when will we.

Jesus is coming.  Will you get left behind?
